Today, Mr Hanks' assembly for KS2 reminded the children about the 500 Words Writing Challenge. We looked at: The children were really enthused and I hope many of them will write their own stories.
The children were given the following information about the competition: - Write a story in 500 words (or less).
- It can be any subject, genre or theme.
- It must be your work.
- They will be judged on:
- Originality
- Plot
- Characters
- Language
- Enjoyment
Get the pieces to Mr Hanks by end of this half term: 17th February. Get writing and good luck! |
