Our regular cross country runners turned out again in bitterly cold temperatures to compete in the Primary Schools Cross Country League.  This was the fifth  meet of the league and a huge thank you needs to be given to the committed and hardy four  and their parents who show up month after month to represent our school.

Perched on the top of a hill in Bradfield provided us with a bracing start to our Saturday morning and we were very proud of our team who coped fabulously with a biting wind, a lot of mud  and very cold feet!!!!

The course suited our girls, both gaining personal bests;  Rosa  36th in the Y5/Y6 race and 1st for Martha in the Y4 race!! Well done girls!

Tom and Henry ran in the Y5/Y6 boys race and by this point the course was churned up into an impressive mud bath! They both ran brilliantly, Tom coming 73th and Henry 55th

Not only do these amazing athletes  all run fantastically,  with bags of determination and a real competitive edge, but they all support each other loudly and with great enthusiasm; their  sportsmanship and team work shining  through.

 Well done Team Dore!!

What a team!
