THE STORY SO FAR
- September 2014 - We start this club. We have 1 robot and have to start from scratch.
- October 2014 -We have a 2004 Food Factor board to practice on. (Thank you KES!) We research videos for how people solve the challenges.
- Autumn Half Term break - Mr Percy finished building the table.
- Autumn 2nd Half Term - We start our Door of Wisdom- the cupboard door that displays our Team Values.
- December 2014 - We watch the national FLL competition and acquire a 2014 board. We research sensors and practice line following designs.
- January 2015 - Greenhill Primary School's FLL Team -THE GREENHILL GIZMOS - visit us and run a workshop with our team before they fly to America for the FLL WORLD FINALS!!!
- February 2015 - We complete several of the 2014 missions as practice for next year.
- March 2015 - We get a second robot, we can now work on more than one thing at a time.
- April 2015 - We run a workshop for our teachers! We want to show them how we can learn computing through using Lego Robots.
- May 2015 - Lots of research! We start thinking about a competition robot design. Mr Percy orders a weighted block for counterbalance and an Ultrasonic Sensor.
- June 2015 - The new design is coming on together. A team led by Aaron has devised a wall follower programme using the Ultrasonic Sensor.
- Late June 2015 - Janaid and Tahseen have started a double colour sensor line up programme.
