Junior Easter Concert

We enjoyed a fabulous Easter Concert and were well entertained by our children who were clearly thoroughly enjoying performing for us.  Many children took part: KS2 choir, Sing Up choir and a drumming group.  Our Sing Up choir showed what they have been singing this term with marvellous part singing which was conducted by the children themselves! This choir is led by Nick Cox of the Cathedral as part of the new Sheffield Hub Music Partnership. We invite children who have a particular talent or interest in singing and those who are part of the Pupil Premium entitlement. If any child is keen to join this choir in the summer term, please let the HT or Mr. Alex Hayward Browne know. The Sing Up songs were well accompanied by one of our African drumming groups, again led by a pupil :)  What talent! Our KS2 choir is led by Andy Goodwin supported by Ian Faraday and Irene Warburton who leads our drama in school. This concert featured Elvis and there was some fabulous dancing coached by Miss Fiona who works in school as part of the extra entitlement to PE and Sport funded by the government. It was a great evening's entertainment and many thanks go to all the staff who made this possible and of course to our marvellous musicians!  We are SO looking forward to our musical "Alice in Wonderland" in the summer :)
