On Wednesday 14th December the Dore Dragons' hard work paid off when they won the Robot Design Award at a competition held at Sheffield Hallam University.  There were 15 teams competing, 13 secondary schools and Dore and Greenhill Primary schools.  Team Dore came 5th overall and won the Robot Design Trophy.

They had to design and programme a Mindstorms robot to complete tasks in a 150 seconds, invent something to help people and animals work better together. (Their invention was for people that can cycle but not walk to enable them to exercise their pet dog)  and had to present and explain their designs and programmes to a panel of judges.

Well done Dragons!

Both Primary Schools won trophies!
