Our teams ran long, hard races at Hallam Primary School on the new course.  We had a good turn-out with three full teams and our runners showed just how tough and resilient they are as they all came in to the finish strongly and still smiling though I am sure ready to snuggle down at home with drinking chocolate and a warm fire - the spectators too! THANK YOU to all who came along to participate or to encourage.  Our Y5/6 Girls' Team finished 12th at Bolehill and our Y5/6 Boys' Team in 6th place!  Great results for our teams who are new to competition this season. I believe we can only get higher up the league as we grow more experienced and add strength in numbers. Our Y4 Boys Team finished in 5th place! CONGRATULATIONS to all our runners! Our overall Team positions reflect in some cases that we did not field a full team at race 1 so valuable points were lost.
The Y5/6 Girls lie in 12th overall, the Y5/6 Boys lie in 19th overall, the Y4 Boys lie in 13th!  Again we should be able to climb higher.  Elliott McKie after 3 very strong races lies in overall 4th place in the Y5/6 competition.  In the overall Y4 Boys' competition Daniel Oxby lies in 15th, Jed Darley in 17th and Sam Mckie in 20th positions.  This shows the strength of these teams.  You can see the City results here.  Our results from Hallam are in a file beneath this article.
