Reception were very fortunate to have a special visitor as part of Road Safety Week.  Cheryl, our Lollipop Lady came in to talk to the children about her job and being safe on the road.  Children asked questions about her uniform and demonstrated they know a lot of good things to remember when crossing the road on the way to and from school.

Many thanks to Cheryl from children and Reception staff for her time that morning.  We all learned something new!

Cheryl needs to spread her arms wide to make sure she is as visible as possible in the road.

The children took a lot of good advice for staying safe in future.

Cheryl told the children why she needs such a bright, reflective jacket.
