Today many Dore Primary School children took part in the Remembrance Day Parade Service which finished at the War Memorial by the Village Green. As well as the children who paraded with the Brownies, Beavers, Guides and Scouts five children from Y6 shared their own reflections of what November 11th, the red poppies and the special service mean to them. You can read 4 of the reflections in the files at the bootom of this report. This Learning at Home follows the study they have completed on WW2 in their topic theme, "We'll Meet Again". We feel very privileged to be able to take part in this annual parade as part of our village community and proud of the maturity shown by our oldest pupils in their reflections for remembrance.
