Another fun day at The Oakes! The rain and hail showers didn't prevent the children from having fun, it just created a whole load of extra mud for the mud swing! The children all took part in a massive assault course, involving: the sack race, throwing wet sponges at The Oakes staff, eating skittles out of flour and climbing across the rafts onto the island.

The children had some free time today. Children could be found: on the football pitch, playing pool and air hockey, bouncing on the trampoline and spinning on the huge swing.

We've all got our fingers crossed for no more rain; the camp fire is planned for 8:30pm and hot chocolate and marshmallows have been mentioned!!
