Many of our pupils are members of the uniformed organisations in Dore Village and on Sunday 7th November there was a great turn-out for parade and to take part in the service to Remember and for members of the local community to lay wreaths at the Unknown Soldier Memorial.  It is a great honour that each year 4 Y6 pupils from Dore read their own reflections of war following their Learning at Home at the end of "We'll meet again!" the Autumn 1 study of World War II. Abi, Thomas, Aaron and Tom read their very poignant pieces beautifully and many in the crowd were very moved. All the pieces and more photos will be added.
