As part of our Y6 WW2 topic, children are encouraged to produce reflective pieces of writing about Remembrance Sunday.  Dore church ask for some of these pieces to be read at the Remembrance Service in the village.  This year more children than ever before produced superb pieces of writing at home over half-term.  The three children, Freya, Isobel and Bushra who were asked to read their pieces at the service did a brilliant job, reading clearly and confidently to an audience of hundreds.  They were a credit to the school, and I am sure made their watching parents very proud.
