South Yorkshire Orienteers Schools competition: Botanical Gardens

posted 18 Jan 2014, 10:47 by Kathryn Davis
Today saw the first schools orienteering competition of 2014 in the pleasant surroundings of the botanical gardens. It may be a small area but the course was as tricky as ever with lots of paths to navigate around. It was lovely to see lots of people out enjoying the fresh air, and especially good to see some infant children having a go. Don't be put off by the website saying Y4 upwards. Younger children can take part with an adult so it really is a family day out! Well done everyone who took part today.
