Today we received two special gifts from a former visitor to the school artist Paul Trevillion.
Here's what he said about Dore Primary School

"Having taken many ART WORKSHOPS in the  Bedfordshire area schools, I can honestly say I have never enjoyed one more than my time with the children of Dore Primary School.  The children were so wonderfully well behaved and responsive to my brief time at the easel, the ‘bell’ came all too soon.

I did promise the children I would send some artwork to the school to be put on display to inspire and encourage them to pick up a pencil and enter the ART COMPETITION.  The painting which is judged the best will hang in the National Football Museum in Manchester which I feel is a great incentive.

When the question was put to the children –' Who plays football?'  Just as many girls put their hands up as the boys.  This I have noticed is the norm now on my workshops.

Congratulations once again on not only an ‘outstanding’ school, but outstanding pupils"
