TEAM Dore Y6 girls are Sheffield City Trampolining Champions. 8 girls represented the school in the U11 Closed (Rose, Cora, Lucy, Amy) and U11 Novice (Evie, Lydia, Victoria, Elizabeth) competitions and both teams are City Champion winners with girls being placed individually too.
Rose Thomas was 2nd individual, Cora Laycock 3rd individual in the city in the Closed competition and Evie Turner is City Champion Novice, with Lydia Harrison 2nd individual, Victoria Clark 3rd individual.  There was great team support and enjoyment of the competition which went from U11 to U19, so plenty of bounce to see!  Rose Thomas is in the Sheffield City Squad regularly winning local competitions and yesterday she was placed 1st in a city squad grading competition and will move on to regional finals. Many, many thanks to Miss Emily Green in Y6 who has coached the girls and organised the team and to Mel  Ferrar who has been a great supporter and team official for the school; also to KES and the High School who facilitated practice.
