Starting 2014 with Poetry

Y4H have started 2014 in style by exploring different forms of poetry, specifically Haikus and Kennings. Both have very strict structures that need careful counting of syllables and knowing what is a noun and what is not!

Haikus

On a Winter or Christmas Theme.

The winter robin
It's breast is a tomato
Flying past the sun.
