Y5 Hindu Workshop

posted 14 Feb 2014, 02:58 by Sian Granville
The whole year group were treated to a morning of expert information and practical activities. In addition to finding out more about the Hindu faith and their Gods, dressing up, wearing bindis (the decorative mark or jewel on the centre of your forehead) and dancing using sticks, we also spent some time actively discussing the basic belief in Samsara (reincarnation) and Karma. We were given a lot to think about! What a great learning experience for us all to enjoy!
