Y6 Stratford Day 3

After another night's DEEP sleep we were all ready for the last day.  TEAM Dore did an effective and quick pack-up and we were ready in our seats in 'the gods' at The Swann, RSC theatre to see the (adapted for) schools' version of Henry 1Vth and HenryVth - Prince Hal.  We were captivated by an interactive production that was exciting and very moving. The super workshop the day before along with study in school prepared everybody well to make the most of this play.  A quick picnic in the shade was followed by a tour of The Butterfly House which is always very spectacular and with the opportunity of handling some unusual insects. Another visit enjoyed by all!  The heat wave necessitated more ice lollies and extra water for the coach and we set off for home - exhausted and exhilarated having enjoyed a tremendous final residential with Dore.  This was a SUPER trip with a brilliant group of children who enjoyed each other's company, cared for each other and shared well including ALL, and acted as EXCELLENT ambassadors for TEAM Dore!
