Year 4 - The Oakes - Day 2

posted 22 May 2014, 11:26 by Richard Hanks
You will notice a change in the weather in our pictures from Year 4's second day at the Oakes, but our spirits are not dampened at all. In fact the feeling was, if you are wet anyway - why not get even wetter (or muddier). The second day of activities saw some keen archery and remote control car racing as well as the usual soggy rafting and muddy ropes and swings. The children also benefited from a little more free time and they made the most of it with so many games available. It is great to see the teamwork and mutual respect on display as everyone gets along to make the residential a massive success.
