Stratford

It was a bright sunny morning as Y6 set off on their eagerly awaited residential trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon. After arriving, we headed over the river to the park for a well earned lunch and to get our bearings. For the afternoons activity we headed to the Royal Shakespeare Company for a drama workshop. Warming up with some group activities, the children continued by using freeze frames, role play and music to analyse and perform different parts of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. The children thoroughly enjoyed the workshop.

After enjoying an ice cream in the park, we headed to our accommodation for the visit. Having enjoyed a delicious meal, the children could choose from a smorgasbord of activities that kept them well and truly entertained.

The day ended with hot chocolate and a story board before our weary adventurers headed to their rooms for some well deserved rest.
