Dore Parents Association

Dore Parents Association (DPA),  is a registered charity which raises money for the benefit of Dore Primary School.

Fundraising is ongoing throughout the year, including events such as, the summer ball, autumn family fun day, discos for both parents and children and the annual village fun run. All the monies raised,  contribute hugely to the quality of school life, and offer the opportunity for school to purchase items that otherwise the school budget would not be able to stretch to.

In the last few years the DPA have purchased the climbing walls in the reception and Y5/6 playgrounds, replaced the play train in the reception play area and contributed towards the jungle gym play equipment. We have also purchased the story sacks and CD books which the infant year groups can borrow and take home,and an incubator available for all year groups to use to hatch eggs and raise chicks.

We welcome all parents to be a part of the DPA, either by joining in the activities organised, donating their time or items wanted for a specific event, or by being part of the committee.  Please contact the school office for DPA contact details.
