The Ginger Bread Man is our theme for the week.

Our home corner has turned into a gingerbread cottage.  The children really enjoyed making all the sweets, candy and buns for the cottage.

We have been learning our shapes and using them to do printing and collage pictures.
On the investigate table the children have been looking at different toys to see if they can work out how they work.  Do you pull, twist, wind, stretch, lift pull or push?

Using puppets to tell the story of the Gingerbread man.

We have introduced the Beebot for the first time this week. It is bright and colourful programmable floor robot in the form of a bee. It gives the chance to teach control, directional language and programming to young children.

Maths outside.
If I give you a number can you jump onto the one that comes next?

Congratulations to Freddy and Kathryn who took home a maths challenge card this week and completed it.  Here they are visiting Mrs Hopkinson  to show off their work and receive a head teachers award.

Well done!!!!
