Capacity - Making the perfect cup of squash!

Before the holidays we were looking at capacity in maths. We practised reading lots of different scales and we made sure that we understood what the scale was showing us each time.

Then in our lesson we had to measure, using different measuring containers, and mix different capacities of squash and water to make the perfect drink! Once we had made our drinks we ordered them from the weakest to the strongest, compared how much we had put into each one and then, using a clean cup, tasted them. Some people like strong squash and others liked it weaker. What capacities make up your perfect cup?

We used our Sunshine Room to work in as it is a great space to use for this type of activity.
