Y2AG have had a super afternoon cooking a traditional Costa Rican dish, gallo pinto. This exotic rice and bean-based mixture is a staple meal throughout the country. The children thought carefully about cooking techniques and kitchen safety whilst they prepared ingredients and mixed them together. The food was described by different children as being yummy, delicious, tasty and scrumptious! Have a look at the photos to see how much fun they had making and eating their food.
