Our learning this week

This week in Y2 we have been really getting to grips with place value of 2 and 3 digit numbers, this has included using the more than and less than signs (< >).
Here are some activities you can do at home: https://www.topmarks.co.uk/place-value/place-value-charts

In topic and English lessons we have been learning all about The Great Fire of London. We found out that scones had been made at Pudding Lane bakery the night before the fire so we made some at school, the following day we wrote a recipe for making them. Can you write a recipe at home for something you like to bake/cook?

We were so impressed with Arthur this week who made his own Tudor style house at home - do you know what the red cross on the front door means?
