Soup v2

After a successful first attempt at making soup, on Friday 14th October, Y5 again peeled, chopped, fried, cooked, blended and seasoned.

There were two big differences this time around. Firstly, children were following a recipe someone else had written. So their instruction writing skills were really tested.

Secondly, the children weren't eating their soup, they were persuading parents and others to buy it using radio adverts they had written, recorded and edited.

The results were excellent with persuasive adverts attracting people to try the different soups, and even making a donation to Children in Need as a result.

A big thank you needs to go to all the parents and adults that supported us especially those who gave up their time to help cook!

Well done everyone!
