Today's 08:30 (Mr Mills) and 09:00 (Mr Goodwin) class meetings will take place on google classroom. Go to Your Class Google Meet Room and use the Meet Link at the top of the page.

All your learning for today is available on Google Classroom. We will be fully migrating over to google classroom very soon (meaning this page will no longer have your home learning on it), so please log on and have a look now. If you are having any trouble logging in to google classroom, please email y6@dore.sheffield.sch.uk

Click here for the link to today's English lesson.  Today's challenge is to write from the perspective of a Spitfire pilot in the Battle of Britain.  Everyone should write at least one paragraph (but hopefully more!).

Please click here to view the video clip of the dogfight (children: that means close combat between aeroplanes, not two dogs having a fight).

Click here for the link to today’s maths lesson: Fractions to Percentages. The worksheets and answers can be found attached to the bottom of this post.

Design and Technology:

Click here for today's foundation lesson: D.T. Join Mr Mills as we use master practical skills and bake our own adaptations of a wartime classic: The Lord Woolton Pie

Mrs Dungworth's Book Corner:

Mrs Dungworth has recorded herself reading 'Goodnight Mr Tom' by Michelle Magorian. The fifth instalment can be found here so settle down somewhere comfy and enjoy.

All children to read for at least 20 minutes each day. This could be a school reading book or a personal book from home. There are online books available at Oxford Owl, register for a free account by clicking this link: https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/user/sign_up.html
